Kapilina
Kapilina is a 1,451-home waterfront beach community spread over more than 360 acres of tropical paradise. This gated community, dotted with shaded palapas, affords stunning views of Honolulu and Diamond Head. The recent major shoreline restoration not only stemmed long-term erosion but also substantially increased the size of the mile-long beach. The 350 townhomes received new roofing, paint and energy efficient solar hot water heaters. All 1,451 homes were renovated with new plank wood-style flooring, granite countertops, modern cabinets and other additions.
